The next morning, Damon tells his daughter to go see her father. He tells her that he's been working on a plan to shut down the colony. Damon says that he hasn't given in to the idea that the colony should be closed down. He's not a monster, he says, and he doesn't want to fight anymore. He says he'll see Damon again when he gets back to earth. He also says that his mother is still his mother, and that she's just chosen the wrong path. She's still angry at Damon for being so distant lately. She tells Damon that he can keep his clothes on and that he still likes him. She says that she hopes that when Damon gets older, he will rot in a prison cell just like his mother. She thinks that Damon is breaking up with her, and she hopes he rots in the same jail cell as her mom. She also says Damon isn't the first guy Damon's ever been with, but she thinks Damon will be the last. He just wants to fill his time with a "class slut" like lise, she tells him. He thinks that he and lise are all noble and doing the right thing, but Damon thinks that they're not.
