In this chapter, Scott describes his job as chief administrator of the International Lunar and Planetary Station. He is responsible for all aspects of the station's operations, from the construction of the capsule to the launch of the Apollo 11 mission. He also serves as the chief administrator's personal physician. Scott says that he has not seen his wife, lise, for weeks because he is unable to find anyone to take her place in the classroom.
