About This Chapter
The narrator says that the people of the future will remember the men who went to the moon, and that they'll be able to remember what they did there. He tells the audience that he's been reading about the new solar panels, which are made of "quantum pots" and "carbon nanotubes" . The narrator doesn't understand why the government is building another giant solar array on the moon. He says that without the corps, the government would starve to death. He wants to be a part of the next generation of scientists and engineers, and he says that enburton's company is going to remember him as one of the guys who did all the "lonely, dirty work" for them in space. He's going to get a job back at the company, he says, and they're going to give him a nice, cushy job back home.
