In this short scene, we learn that Persida and Elmire are still at the house, waiting for the vampire to return. When the vampire does return, however, he is greeted by Elmire, who tells him that he is welcome to stay as long as he pleases. Elmire then tells the vampire that he should not worry about the vampire's presence in the house.
