It's morning, and the vampire is hungry. He wants to go downstairs and find some food, but he can't find the courage to do so. He tells us that he had a nice night's sleep because of the vampire's kindness, and that he's disappointed that he didn't get any love from the vampire last night. He's not sure how he could have fallen asleep while walking the whole day yesterday, so he decides to go back to his room and have some sleep. He wonders why the vampire isn't talking to him, and he wonders if the vampire wants to tell him something. The vampire says that they're just partners, and they've been partners for 200 years, so it's time for them to part. He says that he doesn't know when he woke up last night, because he hasn't regained his magic power, but now that he feels it, he can feel something else. He asks the vampire why she's keeping her distance from him on purpose, and she says that she asked him for it on his own. She also says that the vampire got jealous last night and pretended to sleep so that he wouldn't come in and find out what was going on.
