In the pouring rain, fei runs into the department store where he works as a secretary. He tells the secretary that he has just finished handling the procedures for his son's study abroad. Worried that he is being forced to do something he does not want to do, he asks the secretary if he has the right to do so. The secretary says that he does, and fei tells him that he was bullied by bad students and was beaten badly. . , he says, he lent the boy the handkerchief he embroidered to cover the wound, and the boy was so impressed by the embroidered handkerchief that he called it "the duck on it." . He says that fei ran's twin brother died in a car accident 10 years ago, and that ,fei ran, was the one who beat him in the provincial competition. He explains that he treated the boy as his rival when he transferred to his new school, but when he comes to his senses, he realizes that he can no longer treat him as such.
