The narrator asks what kind of a family would be called a "happy family" . He doesn't know, but at least it would be like his family. He tells the secretary that he's been supporting her for so long, yet she's having an affair. The secretary slaps him, and the narrator tells him to go back to his room. He's really envious of how much money she has, and that no one cares for her in her house. The narrator slaps the secretary, and he tells her to stop hitting him. He also tells her that he has learned how to fake himself since he was a kid. He hopes that one day, he'll beat the secretary and she'll realize what a monster she is. He then tells the woman that she should cancel her plane ticket to Tokyo tomorrow. The woman tells him not to worry, because everything will be fine. He adds that he wishes that fei ran could disappear forever. He says that the woman is sad because of the man's despicable behavior. He asks the woman to let go of him, but she refuses, saying that she is alone whether he is here or not. She says that she can't bear to be sad for him, because he is still alive. She adds that she will tell the woman a secret, too, in exchange for her silence tonight. She wants to get closer to zhen, and she wants to understand her better. She's afraid that the feeling she feels isn't hers, but that it's not zhen's. She feels like she is going to break down soon.
