Some of the police officers decide to flee the city, while others stay behind to protect their families. One of the officers falls down and needs to be taken to the hospital. The police commander tells the officers that they have to take care of the wounded soldier. He says that without him, their operation will be much more successful. He tells them that there is a traitor among them, and they have arranged to guard the family. They have even placed some of their own members as guards. The commander tells him that he admires him because he has a wife and a young son. He invites the police commander to a party that night.
