The next morning, the police officers prepare to go out into the community to perform their rounds. The group is impressed with how well they know each other, and one of the officers, Mr. Barka, tells them that he loves to scare people with his horror stories. He also tells them to use their belts while driving, and that they should always talk to one another when they are out in the community. The officers are impressed with the way that the young woman, yone, is able to communicate with them, and they decide to call her by her first name.
