In this chapter, we learn that Cai Mingyu is now 18 years old, and that he is the one who has been scared. He tells us that he has been acting strangely lately, and he plans to send Cai back with a bunch of other kids. He says that he's an adult, so he can't be responsible for his behavior. He also says that his mind is "a mess," and he hasn't read a book in a long time. He asks Cai if he can win the heart of Mingyu again, and Cai tells him that the subject of love has been unlocked, so Cai is giving him "few more chances" to win the love of his first love. He then asks Cai whether he wants to take Mingyu back. Cai says no, but that he used to love Mingyu before. He gives Cai some popsicles to try, and tells him to remember him when he returns.
