Some of his corpses have been recovered from the rubble, and some have gone underground as they are judged to be dangerous to the public. The world population demands that the surviving "s" and apostles be exterminated. Ritch is enjoying the weather and is enjoying himself when he hears that dinner is ready. He asks where Tim and Mina are, and they reply that they will be there soon. He tells them that he is an "s - zombie" and that he will find a cure for them.
