The next morning, Linin wakes up and wonders why she can't kill the guy. She's not sure if he's a zombie or not, but she doesn't want to kill him just yet. Linin tells Tim that he should have killed him earlier. He's still got a fever, but he should be fine soon. He also tells her that he shot the guy with his gun because he ordered it to be blown up. The fire department tried to do their best, but they couldn't get rid of the evidence they had, so they had to destroy it. Apparently, the guy is going to give a big news conference in the town of geneva. He has a big announcement to make. He wants to invite all the people in the country to test his new cure for the undead. He says that he wants to create a new race of superhumans, one that can live forever, without ever dying.
