In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, Thomas Sutter. He is a doctor, a scientist, and a member of Beb's crew. He has come to be a trusted advisor to Beb. He tells Thomas that he will visit the graves of his parents as soon as the project is complete. He also tells him that if they are successful in their mission, he will pay them a great deal of respect. When they are ready to leave, he tells them that they have saved many lives.
