In the middle of the night, Ritch tells Bebe that he and his family have been able to rebuild their city with the strength of the monster. He says that he would have lost his family without the monster's help, but that his popularity has led to violent clashes between the two groups. Bebe is sorry that he coughed, and he apologizes. Ritch says that his assistant can take him to the air raid shelter, where he can punish some of his children.
