The maid, gukhwa , asks why her brother is so late. He cannot stay out all night, she says, and if he cries like that, people will be scared. The maid scolds her brother for not having respect for himself. He says that he thought she was turning into "a statue" , but he sees that a person is "a person" . He asks her why she was so scared when she was more carefree. She says that she couldnt stop him then and couldnt even approach him for awhile . She asks him when he came out of the house, and he replies that he didn't come out until he was sure that he was dead or not. She then asks him why he stayed up all night. He replies that it was not important which part he was angry at, but why did he stay awake all night? He then asks why he suddenly sneezes, and she says that it is because he went around chasing the playboy named Ganymede. He then says that if someone who did not know saw him, they would think he was chasing the boy because he liked him. He also asks if the maid and the officer also like him. She replies that since he became aware that he liked her, he does not need to explain anything afterwards
