The father and son are about to visit their mother's grave when the father announces that he is no longer a good father to his son. The father tells his son that he will be returning home with the mother and that his best friend has invited him to come but that he should not worry about his movie contract because the day after the contract is signed, his mother will be dealing with it. He tells the son that his mother loves him too and that they should go home and eat first. He asks if he can come in when he is ready to leave, but the father says that he cannot come in until the next day when the contract has been signed. He says he will tell his helper to clear the contract up and then he will go.
