It's been a while since Roxane left, and now she's back in the drawing room. She's not sure what's going on, but she can't help wondering why she hasn't heard from Roxane. She asks Roxane if he's still with her, and he tells her that he has gone to the grocery store to buy some groceries. She tells him that she still has college assignments to do, so she'll just go home and finish them. Roxane tells Roxane that she has to wake up early the next morning to get her assignments from the boss, and that's why they're going to eat nasi rases, a dish of mixed rice with vegetables, meats, eggs, and fried peanuts. She doesn't want to buy too much food, though, because it'll be too filling. She also tells him not to eat too much dessert, since it's too filling, and then she tells him to buy the last coconut klepon, which is a coconut-based pastry dish.
