About This Chapter
Gosho and the others apologize to Mina and ask her to forgive them. They're happy to see her, and they're going to make her a room for the night. Gosho says he's going to take Mina to the Chief's chamber, where they can have a private chat. He's also going to give her some food, which she's not hungry for. He tells her to knock on the door, and he'll take her to the school where they've been living for the last ten years. The Chief says he bought the school, and it's really nice. He says he brought the Chief in, and the two of them have been living there ever since they were born. He wants to know why they haven't been able to talk to each other yet, so he tells them to sit down and talk. He explains that only special people can go into the school's basement. He hopes that Mina will be able to explain that she is one of these special people, so that everyone will be happy to meet her. He also wants to take her into the basement, where he can search for some body.
