This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between Yuuki and his pad. Yuuki tells his pad that okazaki is a friend of his and that they need to get away from the place where no one can find them. The pad sniffs at the scent of yoku, and Yuuki realizes that yoku is dead. He swears that he will kill Yuuki if he ever sees him again. He begs his pad to tell him that what he knows is true.
