In this chapter, Ruchi begins to feel embarrassed about being teased. He tells Ruchi that he has received a present from Ruchi: he can eat and not have to see him again. Ruchi thanks him, and they go for a walk together. He asks Ruchi if he is okay, and Ruchi tells him that he is. He says that everyone has found a way to go to the park, and that they used to be one group, always together, and now they are all splitting up to find new selves. He is sad that he does not have the "extra side" of Ruchi, but he does have the side of Shimada, who does not want to speak to him anymore. He thinks that some times, when you get serious about something, other people do not like you, and this is why all the guys are crushing on you. He hopes that Ruchi will always trust him, as he is going to university, and he is still waiting for his college entrance exams. He thanks Ruchi for giving him courage, and says that he feels like he has finally figured out what he wants to do with his life.
