The King of Tearia is disappointed to learn that his son, alisandre, has rejected his offer of marriage to princess lana. He asks the princess why she does not want to marry him, and the princess replies that she is not in love with him. The King asks her why she doesn't want her son to marry his daughter-in-law, and she responds that she wants to marry someone she loves. She tells the King that love is a small part of a political marriage, and that she hopes that her son will be happy. She asks the King to give her a chance to find someone to love, and he says that she needs time to figure it out. She apologizes and asks him to tell her who he loves.
