This chapter's epigraph comes from a line in the play's opening scene: "We need to go, and kill he Lan!" . It's a reference to the line, "we need to kill he Lon!" , which means "we're going to kill the guy who's guarding the warehouse!" In other words, we're about to find out what's going on in the world of Lon. Lon's not going to let this happen to him. He's his own brother, he tells us, and he just wants to guard the warehouse. He doesn't want to be a part of the gang that's trying to take over the world. He wants to be part of a bigger gang that can make odyssey stronger
