Back at the hotel, the new guy is all, "damn it, thump" . He's furious that the guy he's just met is running away from him. The new guy says he doesn't know who the guy is, but he does know that it's the teacher, and he'd like to find him ASAP. He invites the guy to a dinner party on the roof of the hotel and invites him to be a part of the "circle" , which is a fancy term for a group of people who hang out in the hotel's lobby. The guy is totally psyched to be part of this "circle," and he wants to do whatever he can to make it happen.
