This chapter opens with the vice president of the enterprise in charge of a project between the enterprise and the Huayu company. The vice president must be extremely careful and alert because if the project is successfully executed, the enterprise will invest about 20 percent of the company's funds into the project. This is equivalent to investing nearly half the enterprise's working capital. The manager then tells the audience that this is a tricky project because the boss of one of the competitors is "cunning and shrewd" and his subordinates share his "awful traits" as well.
