In this chapter, the narrator tells us that in the real world, there are only two people who call her by her first name: a-he. Now, there's one more person who can call her "a-him" . The narrator explains that she doesn't have to do much of anything when she comes back from work because she likes to cook, clean, and do all sorts of other things. In the future, she tells us, she'll find someone to do all of this for her. She'll also use this card to buy things when she's out and about. This is a big deal for the narrator, because she knows that if she tells you to take a job, you're going to have to take one. If you call her a-him later, she will be punished for it.
