When Fuling returns to the palace, she asks her brother why he hasn't been home for a while. He tells her that he's worried that Fuling will forget to care for her family outside the palace. He asks her if she'll help him find the Ministry of Justice's case files. He's sure that there's no such thing as a case file in the library, but Fuling won't let him in on the secret. She tells him that someone has asked her to teach her politics, and that she's come to look at the case files to make sure someone's injured should be healed. Fuling tells her uncle that he doesn't know much about the court, but he does know that there are six different departments in the court: the officials, the households, the ceremonials, the war, justice and labor.
