In this chapter, we learn that Hiroshi has been working late at the office, and that his boss, Masada, has been trying to get him to apologize to Mina. Hiroshi says that he's not an adult, so he doesn't care what anyone says to him. He's just the mailman, and apologizes for forgetting to order some of Mina's old comics. He says he'll find out what's wrong with her art, and he promises to dig up her "dark past" and find out why she's been acting like an adult instead of acting like a manga artist. He also says that Mina pushed him out of the office when she found out that he wasn't going to pay her back. She's the only one who pushed him away, he says. He asks if he can teach him how to draw, and she says she'll listen to what he has to say. She says that if she can inspire others to do the same, then maybe she can do something for the ship as well. She adds that she'd like to be able to create something that shows off her love for her ship to the world, and inspire other artists to create their own fanzines.
