The narrator tells us that he and his childhood friend, takkun, have been living together under the cover of a "light hearted" and "mutual benefit" arrangement. He says that he's sure that he would never have thought that this would happen. He's also sure that if he had gone abroad to pursue his love, he wouldn't have been able to stay at his place for so long. He also says that, aside from some snacks, he'd been nervous about making it all the way to the city, but now he feels "glad I did" . The narrator then reveals that he has all of his personal belongings, including his company's stock and certificates of holdings, credit cards, and real estate rights. He asks if he can exchange them for a woman he loves, and he says he hopes she will be happy. When the narrator asks if she's serious, he says she is, and that she must have been a woman who "even yukarin wasnt a match for" , meaning that she wasn't good enough for him. He apologizes for putting her through this, and says that since he released his holdings, "whoosh virtually unemployed now . . have nothing ." He wants her to "be with no matter what ."
