Back at work, the narrator complains to his co-worker that he's exhausted from his week's work. He's going to visit his buddy in Los Angeles, and the two of them plan to spend the day together. The narrator asks if the two will be able to sleep together, since it's his first weekend at home with his new boss. The two discuss the new horror movie "Nightmare on Elm Street," and the narrator admits that he doesn't like scary movies. He also complains about the fact that the narrator was unable to stand in a haunted house at his school's haunted house festival. He says he'll check out the new movie when he gets back from his trip to Los Angeles
