The narrator is late for work. He tells us that he's been working as a waiter at a coffee shop. He says that the girl who was supposed to be his "temp star" has left. He asks the girl if she'd like to help him find a job. The girl says that she's looking for something to do. The narrator says that if he did everything he wanted to do, he'd just build illegal properties. He then tells the girl that he met her on a job when she pretended to be the man's girlfriend. The man asked her to pretend that she was his girlfriend because he was having trouble getting women to like him. She says that's fine, but she wants to know if the man has a girlfriend. She asks if he cooks a lot, and he says that it's the same as "architecture" .
