The next morning, Ling tells the girls that she has heard rumors that Lin is going to sell them off soon. The girls are shocked at the news, since they were "given away for nothing" by their master. Ling tells them that she will help them find their families if they need it, and that she is a little "hooked on it" after being called "brother" by the lasschun for the whole day. Ling then asks the girls if they have ever attended school, and they tell him that they were sold when they were ten, and only learned how to "serve guests" after they were bought by the boss. Ling promises to help the girls, and promises that they will both live in a villa starting tomorrow.
