Ling asks the wolf if he needs a waiter in his hotel, and he says that he has an older sister who is looking for a job. The wolf says that the salary is too high, and that he will replace the waiter with Ling the next day. Ling says that she still wants a new skirt, but the wolf does not tell her why he is helping her.
