This chapter opens with a description of the vicious attack that took place on Zizieng wang. The attackers were wearing thick clothing and ran away, so they couldn't catch up to them. This is the first time we've heard of this kind of thing happening, and we're not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing. We're also not sure what the heck happened to the guy in the thick clothes, but we do know that he's covered in blood, so we can't help but think that he must have been the attacker. Lin tells us that Le Ling has come to call on him several times, but that she doesn't have his phone number. Lin says he'll call Le Ling back, and thanks her for the trouble she's been having. Lin asks if he can go to the aquarium, and Lin says that he has two tickets. Lin thanks God that the guy didn't turn him down, and tells Lin to be nice to him, because his wound won't heal for a long time. He says that if they find out who the attacker was, then he can leave the guy with a "shattered corpse" .
