The chapter opens with Hiroshi talking to Mikuri about his new girlfriend, Yuri. Mikuri is surprised that Hiroshi did not like something she was cooking for him, but he does not understand how she could have upset him so late. He tells Mikuri that he will be waiting for her, and Mikuri promises to wait for her. She tells him that she would like a cake that is not too sweet, but that it is a normal thing for a chocolate cake to be hard to make. She says that she needs to figure out how she will react if she is fired from her job as a cook for Hiroshi.
