When the maid enters, she is surprised to find that the young master and the maid are talking about work. The maid, however, is not so surprised, as she has noticed that the master seems to be very attentive to the maid's company. When she asks why, the maid replies that it is because she is jealous of the master's attentions to the guests. She also tells the maid that she likes the way the master treats her.
