The narrator tells us that he was bullied at school, too. His mom did everything she could to make him a man, but his dad was always the one who would fight back. The narrator says that when he told his dad he was going to school, his dad stayed home, but that would have been bad for his health. He tells the kids that he'll come visit them and make sure they're good friends. The kids are psyched to see him, and the narrator tells them that they should all get to class together. He says that he doesn't know the answer to the problem, but he's here to help. The next day, he says, kotarou refuses to come out of his room, so the narrator is leaving his dinner outside and going to stay with his friends.
