In this short scene, Roxane and the others discuss the possibility of the poison flowing down from the river. Roxane wonders why the creature hates Roxane so much when she saved the river from the monster. She also wonders why she hates the creature when she saves it from the poison. The two wonder if there is something about the old water palace in the village. They wonder if the villagers might also be affected. The villagers are a bit further up the river than they are, and they might be in danger of being poisoned by the poison too.
