In this chapter, we learn that the lady who put the poison into the teapot at the beginning of the story has been found dead, and that her body was found in the room of the woman who put it in the teapot. In the meantime, we've learned that the man who found the poisoned teapot was a member of the royal court, and he's been sent to fetch the dead woman's body.
