In this chapter, tenka and miyoshi appear on a reality show where they have to escape from a horror hotel. Tenka and Miyoshi are able to elude the zombies with the help of Miroku's "inheritance of princeliness" . They are followed by shiju and Rou, who are the second and third place finishers, respectively. Miyoshi and Tenka apologize to the zombies, who have been asked to leave, for not being able to give them the chase they wanted. The narrator compares the food to a "prank wake-up call" , in which a person is attacked when he or she is sleeping, in the hope of capturing a genuine reaction.
