It's been a while since we've heard from Hiroshige, and now he's back in his room. He's so happy to see his old friend, and he wants to tell him how much he loves him. He wants to know if he'll be able to live in the city with him, since he doesn't really want to be a stay-at-home dad. He also wants to see if he can catch a glimpse of him out on the open sea. He tells his friend that it's going to get pretty dark and blue by the time he gets back to his room, so he'd better get ready to go out. He says that he used to be so used to the cold and dark that he can't wait to see the sun rise again. He asks if he could go out to sea with him now, since it looks like the sky is going to turn blue and the sea to turn white. He hopes that he won't have to wait any longer.
