The next day, Hirokazu and Tomo prepare to leave for Japan. Tomo tells them to get rid of all the things that are no longer useful to them. He tells them not to worry about what other people think of them, because he's already made up his mind: he doesn't want anyone to come to visit him, and he'd never want to be around anyone who didn't love him. He also tells them that they should tell Tomo that one day someone is going to see the sex scene, and that he'll have to explain what happened. He says that Tomo needs to tell him what he should do, because Tomo is too hard on himself. He's too hard, she says, to be happy without him. She tells him that she'll never let him go again, because she still wants him around, and she still loves him.
