"Tight" is the first word that comes to mind when we think of "tight" in this scene. It's not even half of the way through the scene, and Shmoop is still trying to figure out what's going on. He's worried about how the scene is going to go, and he's also worried about what the other characters are going to think of the scene. He wonders if they're going to freak out and freak out when they see the guy who's supposed to be the main character, and then he wonders if he'll be able to go out and act like he did in the first scene, which is a lot of work. He doesn't want to be seen looking like that, so he laughs and says he can't act like that anymore.
