About This Chapter
Milady and the other elves enter the girl's room. Milady tells them that she has killed some mosquitoes in her room, and that the little girl has said that there are "a lot of mosquitoes" in the house. She tells Milady to be quiet, but Milady slaps her, saying that she's trying to sleep. She says that she slaps the mosquitoes when they fly out of the house, and Milady says that that's how the dean told them to be helpful when he said that they should help the girl. She asks Milady for a notebook, but there's no notebook in the room. There's also a new window that opens into a classroom. Inside the window, Milady finds a notebook with the attendance record on it. She also finds a thermos, a lunch box, and a book with "blue sky" and "white clouds." Milady wants to thank the elves for all they've done for the girl, but the girl won't let her go outside. She doesn't even give Milady a thank you, she says, because she knows that no one will give her what she wants. She wants to make the girl happy, and she wants the elves to help her
