Don't Make a Wish

The narrator tells us that he's here to check out the new school of his sister's. He wants to buy some water, but he can't bring himself to buy it from the vending machine. The narrator asks the teacher if he can pick up the water for him. The teacher says he'll do it for him, but first he wants to know why the narrator is here. He tells the teacher that he just wants to see the school. He says he doesn't know the name of the teacher yet, but the teacher tells him that the teacher is a transfer student from the middle school and that he has made the school life a "nightmare." The teacher tells the narrator that he is a talented author and that his novel is so good that he should show it to the entire class. The girl is all, "I'm so glad you showed it to all the students!" The teacher starts to fight with the girl, but she calms down and says that she's just trying to do her homework. She says she was studying on her own from the time she was in the third grade until she passed the entrance
