In this chapter, we learn that Ming-Ging's friend, wangzi, is jealous of Ming's affections for her. Ming, on the other hand, wants Ming to experience the pain of jealousy as well. He tells Ming that he is a passerby, and that he will help Ming when he sees someone in need.
