When the chapter opens, the narrator is in the middle of a conversation with a friend. He's not sure who this guy is, but he's pretty sure it's one of the students from class 11. He wants to know if the guy is also a student, so that he can learn more about how to be a good student in the future. The narrator doesn't know what to make of this guy. He can't figure out why the guy would want to hang out with a girl like that, and he'd be shocked to find out that she's actually a teacher. The teacher is Miss Shasha, who's just been named a new teacher at the battle academy. She's super excited to be the new teacher, and she can tell that the other students are psyched to have her as a teacher, too. She wants to prove to them that they aren't trash, and that they're really good students.
