He asks the innkeeper if she's Ming's sister, and the innkeeper tells him that she is. The innkeeper tells the narrator that Ming and his sister are both classmates from the "battle dragon academy" . The narrator is convinced that Ming is a good sister. He tells the innkeeper that Ming will be back home soon, but Ming is always practicing after school because he isn't talented enough. Ming is like their father, stubborn, and eager to get stronger. He wants to be like them one day, the narrator tells him. He wishes he had a sister just like Ming, clean arms, and a vegetable that looks good. He says that he supports the family, and Ming wants to do whatever he wants with his life, no matter how hard it is.
