About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which Caixin tells his sister that he has been able to control the sea of consciousness. He tells Caixin to obey his orders. Caixin is amazed at the power of his soul control. He says that he is going to destroy his soul if Caixin doesn't obey his commands. He also says that Caixin has been injured because of his incompetence and cowardice. He vows that he won't let anything go wrong again. He claims that he will own Caixin completely and that he's going to sweep his consciousness. This is the first time Caixin's soul control has been so powerful, and he says that it's amazing that it works. He compares it to the strength of the sea, and says that the sea is getting weaker and weaker. He asks Caixin why the power has disappeared, and she says that she made it happen. She says that they finally made it, and Caixin says that's all his fault. He blames Caixin for injuring him, and they can go back to school without any worries. He adds that he was injured by the emperor sword, and that the dragon can't bully him. The soul control is a bit different this time, he says, because he didn't need to give it commands to do what he wanted. He feels like part of him. He's glad to have the power, because it means that he can get stronger, too.
