The sea god and the monk discuss the situation. The monk says that he and the sea god have agreed to fight in a "draw" . If they lose, he says, that means they have lost the bet. He says that if the markers are taken away or destroyed from the camp, then they lose the bet, but they just agreed to "call it a draw" , which means they both lost. He tells the monk that if he loses, he will say that he lost because he took the "buddha beads" from the monk. The bead is a symbol of reincarnation, and if it is destroyed or taken away from a person, that person will suffer a "mental breakdown" because of the "whoosh" of the bead . He promises to come back and save the monk if he needs him. He asks the monk why he did what he did to his father, and he says that it was all his fault that they lost, because he could not stand being beaten. He then says that they will have to "trouble you next"
