The wind blows, and the new year arrives. The old meng and his son-in-law, Ming-chuan, have decided to get married. Ming says that he hates the old man, and that he's going to marry the girl he loves. Ming tells Ming that he can't go to the wedding because he has to guard his pot, but Ming says he'll be back soon. Ming asks Ming if there are any girls around, and Ming tells him that he wants to go check on his daughter. Ming is sad that his mother isn't there to see the wedding, but he wants Ming to be happy, too. Ming and Ming's brother help Ming to go inside. Ming wants to see his daughter, and wants Ming and chuan to hurry up and get to her.
